Warehousing
Lombard Shipping & Forwarding offer a comprehensive warehousing and distribution service from their two acre site which is located at the junction of the M62 & M57 motorways.
The warehouse facilities are equipped to handle a wide range of products including heavy lift facilities as and when required, Lombard Shipping & Forwarding are one of the few freight forwarders in the North West region that can offer a dedicated shipping, warehousing and distribution service.
ICD Approval
Lombard Shipping & Forwarding also operate a Transit shed with ICD approval which allows us to complete import or export customs clearance on site, for FCL or LCL cargoes moving in transit to or from European Union air and sea ports.
Bonded Storage
Our warehouses are HMR & Customs approved which enables Lombard Shipping & Forwarding to provide storage facilities with the payment of any Duty or VAT being deferred until the goods in question are entered to “free circulation”.
Cargo Handling Facilities (Including Heavy Lift Facilities on Request)
We are equipped to handle all types of unitized and conventional cargoes including motor vehicles. We can also provide heavy life facilities up to 85 tonne subject to 48 hours notice. Additional services such as, picking, packing selection or rebagging are also available.
Computerised Stock Control
Reports can be produced, in hard copy or disc format, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis detailing all cargo movements through the warehouse.
